Join OPPI’s Lakeland District and Sustainable Orillia for a Jane’s Walk!

In celebration of the legacy of Jane Jacobs, participants will take part in a guided walk through a proposed Strategic Growth Area in the City of Orillia. Together, we’ll explore key urban planning themes, including:

  • Walkability
  • Connectivity
  • Mixed-use development
  • “Eyes on the street”
  • Community safety
  • Diversity of age and income
  • Neighbourhood centres and edges
  • Infill development

Come ready to observe and discuss how thoughtful planning can shape vibrant, inclusive communities.
